Pittsburgh: AIDS Community Day
May 30, 2002 The eighth annual AIDS Walk has turned into the 2002 Pittsburgh AIDS Community Day in order to provide a full array of activities and recognition in the fight against HIV/AIDS in southwestern Pennsylvania. From 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. June 2, the festivities will include a five-mile pledge walk at 10 a.m. and one-mile family walk at 10:15 a.m., all beginning on Flagstaff Hill in Schenley Park. There will also be an 8:30 a.m. interfaith service, with entertainment beginning at 9:00 a.m. A noon picnic and concert follow. Register online at www.patf.org or call 412-242-WALK.
