Republican Governor Scott McCallum signed a bill that expands eligibility for the state HIV/AIDS Drug Reimbursement Program. The legislation, AB 733, allows people with annual incomes of $26,580 or less, or between 200 percent and 300 percent of the federal poverty level, to receive financial assistance. The previous income level was $17,720 a year, or 200 percent of the federal poverty level.
