AIDS Health Project Gala November 1November 1, 2001 The University of California-San Francisco's (UCSF) AIDS Health Project's (AHP) annual gala, "Facing the Future Together" takes place tonight in the grand ballroom at the Fairmont Hotel in San Francisco. AHP provides culturally sensitive counseling and education to stop the spread of HIV infection and to help people face the emotional, psychological, and social challenges of living with HIV. The gala will feature a supper buffet, a wine tasting and a silent auction. An evening program will recognize Dr. Eric Goosby, who will receive the AHP Champion Award. Wells Fargo will receive the Community Pillar Award for contributions it has made to AHP. KGO radio personality Gene Burns will serve as master of ceremonies. The gala starts at 5:30 p.m., with the program scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Tickets to the event are $125 each. For more information, telephone 415-476-3902.
