Richmond, Virginia Hosts Rally to Fight AIDS

November 28, 2001

The Minority AIDS Program of the Richmond, Va., Department of Public Health will host a rally against AIDS on Friday at 11 a.m. at the 6th Street Marketplace Food Court. The event will feature a presentation on the impact of HIV and AIDS in the community. Richmond Mayor Rudolph C. McCollum, Jr., Del. Viola O. Baskerville (D-Richmond) and American Red Cross peer counselors are scheduled to attend.
