Health Network Gets $1 Million in AIDS/HIV FundingNovember 8, 2001 Hudson Headwaters Health Network in Warrensburg, N.Y., has been awarded a $1 million, 3-year federal grant to provide prevention and care for people with HIV or who are at serious risk for contracting the virus. The network of 11 health centers in the Adirondack region will work with the AIDS Council of Northeastern New York, Catholic Charities and other nonprofit agencies. In the area served by Hudson Headwaters, AIDS has increased 12 percent over the last 2 years, according to the health network. The grant is from the US Health Resources and Services Administration.
