News Briefs New Hampshire: AIDS Housing GrantNovember 8, 2002 The federal Department of Housing and Urban Development has awarded $900,000 to New Hampshire to help people with HIV/AIDS find and keep affordable housing. The state Department of Health and Human Services will use the grant to expand a program that helps low income people who are homeless or at risk of losing their homes due to the advancement of their disease. Participants will be assisted with rent and mortgage and utility payments as well as counseling and other services.
