Georgia: Tucker High Students, Staffers Tested for TB

October 10, 2002

About 200 students and staffers at Tucker High School in DeKalb County will be tested for TB Monday after someone at the school tested positive for the contagious disease. Principal Robert Moseley said the school was told about the positive test last week and on Monday sent letters to parents seeking permission to test students for TB. Moseley said the condition of the person who tested positive at Tucker High was not particularly serious. "I was told he was undergoing treatment and doing fine," he said.
