Director of AIDS Organization to Step DownOctober 11, 2001 Larry Kessler, co-founder of the AIDS Action Committee of Massachusetts, announced Wednesday that he will step down as the organization's executive director. He will remain on the job until a search firm finds a replacement, which could take four months to a year. Kessler, whose new title will be founding director, said, "It's been the best job I've ever had, but also the most challenging and sometimes the saddest. It's time to move over a little bit and focus on some of the other things we need to do." Associated Press 10.10.01 This article was provided by U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
