Atlanta AIDS 10K Walk Pulls More Than $1 MillionOctober 15, 2001 On Sunday, thousands of walkers turned out for the annual AIDS Walk Atlanta. The walk raised more than $1 million, according to organizers, and will benefit AID Atlanta and 14 other metro area AIDS service and education providers. Last year, the event raised $1.4 million.
