US Grants 10 Million Dollars to Vietnam for HIV PreventionOctober 24, 2001 The United States yesterday awarded Vietnam the first stage of a $10 million grant to expand HIV/AIDS prevention and care programs, according to the US Embassy in Hanoi. US Charge d'Affaires Robert C. Porter, Jr. announced the first year's award of $2 million to Vietnam's Ministry of Health.
