Zimbabwe HIV/AIDS Policy Framework Adopted by International BodySeptember 13, 2001 The International Federation of the Red Cross Society and Red Crescent Society has adopted the Zimbabwean Red Cross Society's policy framework on tackling HIV/AIDS issues, an official said yesterday. Activities being conducted by the local branch in the fight against HIV/AIDS include providing nursing aids for the home-based care program, nutritious foods, counseling, and peer education for prevention of the spread of the virus.
