Best-Selling Author Gives Compassion BenefitFall 2001 Neale Donald Walsh, New York Times best-selling author of Conversations With God, will give a benefit lecture entitled "Dying With God: From Fear to Empowerment." Neale worked with Elizabeth Kubler Ross for many years and has a special interest in spiritual growth throughout a terminal illness. He hopes to change the way people think about death and dying, by creating a conversation that will transform fears into faith. Neale's benefit for Compassion, will introduce our work to a vast and supportive audience. In his next book, Dying With God, Neale will endorse the work and mission of Compassion. The benefit evening will be held at Portland's Reed College Kaul Auditorium. Tickets for the lecture are $35.
