Ram Dass Joins Federation Advisory BoardFall 2001 The Federation is delighted to announce the addition of Ram Dass on our Board of Advisors. Ram Dass (Richard Alpert) received a Ph.D. from Stanford, and taught and conducted research in social science and education at Stanford and Harvard. As one of the pioneers in East-West spirituality, his books include Be Here Now, Journey of Awakening, and The Only Dance There Is. His most recent book, Still Here, offers a new perspective on changing and dying that he hopes will make the process clearer for all. The board greatly appreciates the contribution of prominent individuals who lend their stature and reputation to our mission and our organization.
