The Annual Scientific Meeting of the American College of Gastroenterology provides leading scientists and practitioners with a forum to discuss the latest developments in the treatment of gastrointestinal disorders. It is presented by the American College of Gastroenterology, which will also offer a special postgraduate course (to those who pre-registered for it) and a job forum at the conference.

This year's topics will include discussions of gastrointestinal problems related to pregnancy, adolescents and minorities. For more information on the conference, click here.

Exclusive coverage for The Body will be provided by Jorge L. Herrera, M.D. from the University of South Alabama and Luis Balart, M.D. from Louisiana State University.

Funding for The Body's conference coverage is provided, in part, by an unrestricted educational grant from Roche.
