Rick Stryker, M.D., M.P.H.
Having received his medical degree from the University of California, San Francisco, Dr. Stryker completed his Residency at Stanford University. He received a master's degree in Public Health at the University of California, Berkeley. He is currently affiliated with the UCLA School of Medicine, where he is a Clinical Instructor, and is a member of the Gay and Lesbian Medical Association.
Dr. Stryker is involved in numerous clinical trials, including studies with Protocol DMP 266-049 and a study of ABT-378 / Ritonavir (Protocol M97-765). His publications and abstracts have been presented at several medical conferences, including the 6th Conference on Retroviruses and Opportunistic Infections and the 3rd International Workshop on HIV Drug Resistance & Treatment Strategies.
Pacific Oaks Research receives funding to conduct clinical trials from Abbott Laboratories, DuPont, Glaxo-Wellcome, and the National Cancer Institute, among others. Dr. Stryker has served on physician advisory panels for Agouron, Glaxo-Wellcome, and Ortho Biotech.
