The Annual Clinical Care Options for HIV Symposium is designed for and limited to experienced front-line primary HIV care physicians, clinical researchers, and other advanced frontline clinicians actively treating HIV+ individuals. These leading experts and their colleagues review the advancements of the previous year and discuss state-of-the-art treatment in a setting that is conducive to both a formal learning experience and informal networking.
The objectives of the Symposium are to provide:
- Advanced state-of-the-art clinical information on the treatment of HIV-related illnesses
- Scientific and clinical rationale for those treatments
- Opportunities to discuss important clinical issues and share clinical experiences in the context of recent changes in the treatment of HIV and the changing health care environment
The Body's coverage of the 8th Annual Clinical Care Options for HIV Symposium is being provided by Dr. William Powderly. Funding for this conference coverage at The Body is provided, in part, through an unrestricted educational grant by Bristol-Myers Squibb Immunology.
