Resistance is one of the most crucial issues for people taking anti-HIV medications. The 4th International Workshop on HIV Drug Resistance and Treatment Strategies provides a forum for the world's leading researchers to meet and share the latest data on new drugs and therapy options, resistance development and testing, resistance profiles and virus-host dynamics.

This event is aimed at scientists, clinicians and community groups working actively in AIDS/HIV research. The majority of attendees will be presenting and answering questions on their recent work; formal discussion periods are scheduled in the program to initiate and maximize the combining of efforts in this area of research.

Cal Cohen, M.D. will be providing exclusive conference coverage for The Body.

Funding for this conference coverage at The Body has been provided, in part, by an unrestricted educational grant from Agouron Pharmaceuticals, Inc. and Glaxo Wellcome.
