Kent Sepkowitz, M.D.
A Fellow of the American College of Physicians, Dr. Sepkowitz is board certified in Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases. In addition to caring for patients with HIV, he serves as a member on several scientific committees, including: the Tuberculosis Working Group, AIDS Clinical Trials Unit, National Institutes of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID); Tuberculosis Committees for the Infectious Disease Society of America (IDSA) and International Immunocompromised Host Society; and two CDC Steering Committees.
Dr. Sepkowitz is the Associate Editor of the International Journal of Infectious Disease and the Co-Editor of Infections in Medicine on-line. He has served as a regular reviewer for the New England Journal of Medicine, Journal of the American Medical Association, and the European Journal of Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases, to name just a few medical publications.
Originally from Oklahoma City, Dr. Sepkowitz received his M.D. at the Oklahoma University College of Medicine. He completed his residency and served as Chief Medical Resident at Roosevelt Hospital in New York. He has served as a Fellow in the Infectious Disease Service, Department of Medicine at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center and in the Division of Infectious Disease, Department of Medicine, Cornell University Medical College.
