AIDS Drug Assistance Programs (ADAPs) provide medications to low-income uninsured and underinsured people with HIV and AIDS in each state, the District of Columbia, Guam, Puerto Rico, and the Virgin Islands. Financial eligibility and available medications vary. Many states have ADAP waiting lists or have a limited number of medications on their formularies.
