Voices With a Message: Peer Support & Treatment Information Hotline
Our peer support hot line is operated by women volunteers, who are themselves, living with HIV/AIDS. Volunteers offer peer to peer support to women callers from across the nation. Treatment information is available upon request and a peer Treatment Educator is ready to talk about your treatment concerns. Monday, Wednesday and Friday 11am to 6pm. Reach out, talk to women living with HIV/AIDS. Find support and a sense of community. 800.554.4876.

Marilyn Howell Memorial HIV Center for Women
Come join us at our new center for a support group for women living with HIV/AIDS. The group is held the 2nd and 4th Wed of each month 6:30 -8:00pm. 2645 Industry Way, Lynwood 323.564.9899.

Heterosexuals Too!
Enjoy an evening with people who share common issues, fears, hopes and concerns in a safe and friendly atmosphere. A peer support group for HIV+ heterosexual women and men. For more information call Aleece 323.965.1564.

Yoga Classes
Every Wednesday 1:30-2:30pm. This class focuses on breath and movement used to link yoga postures into a flowing sequence designed to increase flexibility and range of motion. Legal Clinic
3rd Wednesday of every month 3:00-6:00pm. Sit down with an attorney, and get some answers to your legal questions. One-on-one consultations provided by a female attorney. By Appointment only, must schedule appt. 24 hrs in advance call Aleece 323.965.1564.

Positive Images
Many of us living with the virus sometimes don't feel so good about ourselves. But when we get together and hang out, we find that we're not so different after all. When we have a little more fun and light hearted conversation. Afterwards, we feel better about ourselves and our circumstances.
Join Positive Images, The Women. "The Party-Line" a support group on the phone for women. CALL 1.888.600.4767 Mon 8-10pm. Every Thursday is "Co-Ed Night" on the chat line So, tell Mr. boyfriend to call in too. We get together every Saturday afternoon 1:00-4:00pm for arts and crafts class and to have fun together. A library of extensive information about HIV disease, AIDS and the treatments for them is housed within the facility located at Women Alive. Information from over 200 sources, is cross referenced and accessible.
