2. Illinois HIV Care Consortia

The State of Illinois currently funds seven consortia that provide HIV/AIDS

3. Illinois Health Departments

Local health departments usually provide anonymous, confidential, and free counseling and testing for HIV. This service may be useful if you want a confirmatory test or want to bring your partner, spouse, or children in for testing. Many health departments also have numbers you can call during business hours to ask questions about HIV and AIDS. Additional services may include case management, partner notification, and physician referral.
