"Pictures speak louder than words" serves as the framework for this month's "Say Anything," which features photos from the XIII International AIDS Conference held four years ago in Durban, South Africa. As the XV International AIDS Conference (the second such conference to be held in a developing world country) opens in Bangkok this month, one basic question will trump all others: "How much progress has been made in 'Breaking the Silence' and, subsequently, in securing access to antiretroviral therapy for 5.5 million men, women, and children in need worldwide?"
