New York Times Examines Implications of HIV Cases on Pornographic Film Industry

The New York Times on Sunday examined the implications of a voluntary work stoppage in the pornographic film industry after two adult film actors recently tested HIV-positive. According to the Times, the "potential economic consequences of the shutdown have unnerved some actors," and some performers "are now deciding whether their careers are worth the threat to their health" (Madigan, New York Times, 4/25).
