Melinda Scott

Melinda Scott is a native of New Jersey and now resides in Illinois. Melinda is a 14-year survivor of the HIV-AIDS epidemic. She has overcome many adversities throughout her illness and has finally come to a place in her life where she feels in control, beautiful and spiritually free.

Power, Beauty and Freedom: Power, Beauty and Freedom represents for the artist a woman who has come a long way and now has a sense of contentment. Power, Beauty and Freedom is not one woman in particular, but reflects what lives in every woman.
