Press Release

2017 ACA Marketplace Plan Assessments Now Available!

January 11, 2017

Each year, the Center for Health Law and Policy Innovation (CHLPI) works with state-based community partners to provide detailed plan assessments of silver-level health insurance plans offered across the nation for those living with HIV and other chronic illnesses like HCV.

Need to find a Marketplace plan that is best for you or your client? Click here to view the 2017 plan assessments for nearly 20 state Marketplaces.

These annual state reports examine the accessibility of HIV and HCV treatment coverage in assessed state Marketplaces in order to address ongoing discriminatory insurance practices limiting people with low and moderate incomes from accessible comprehensive health care. Lower rates of treatment coverage and increased cost-sharing means that many consumers living with HIV and HCV are prevented from realizing the promises of the Affordable Care Act (ACA).
