Webinar: Health Care for Our Lives

December 15, 2016

Health Care for Our Lives

Since the Affordable Care Act (ACA) was passed the law has caused a significant reduction in the number and percentage of people without health insurance. We also know with the new Trump administration there will be a plan to possibly repeal the ACA, which could leave millions of Americans without health insurance.

Join us on Tuesday, Dec. 20, 3:30 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. ET, for our first Health Care for Our Lives webinar, "The impact of the ACA, HIV and what we can do about it?" During this webinar we will breakdown the impact of the ACA on this country, people living with HIV and those communities most impacted. We will also discuss what we can do as a community to tell the stories of those who have been helped by having greater access to health insurance and ways we can move to keep those most vulnerable insured.

Panelists include:

  • Jenny Sullivan, MHS, Vice President of Programs, Enroll America
  • Ronald Johnson, Vice President of Policy and Advocacy, AIDS United
  • Alaina Kennedy, Manager of Health Equity, AIDS Foundation of Chicago
