TransLatina Coalition, Florida Chapter

This year was crucial for the transgender community and specifically transgender Latinas living with HIV like me: meetings at the White House, changes in policies and guidelines for us. And, working together with multiple organizations, this year we successfully brought together nearly 30 openly HIV-positive transgender individuals to train and create connections at PWN-USA's SPEAK UP! Summit Institute for Women of Trans Experience.

Now we can say that we are not alone; we now have community, and we are walking firmly toward a decent future.
