How to Locate HIV/AIDS Services Near You

May 31, 2016

Seeking support is the most important step that people with HIV can take for their physical and mental health. When you connect yourself to care -- whether it's for medical services, financial assistance or just someone to talk to -- you take control of your health.

There are many different types of organizations, hotlines, centers and other locations that provide HIV/AIDS services. Whether you're looking for information or assistance, and whether your needs are HIV testing, health care, medication access, mental health, housing or connecting with others, there's an organization out there that can help.

If you're looking for HIV-related support in the U.S., start with the HIV Testing Sites & Care Services Locator search tool, which is maintained by AIDS.gov:

If you're outside the U.S., browse this worldwide directory of HIV/AIDS services compiled by the British nonprofit information resource NAM.

Remember: Whether you've recently been diagnosed with HIV, are a long-term survivor or are concerned about a possible exposure, finding support is critical for your health and wellbeing. You're never alone.
