University of California-San Francisco Launching Mobile HIV Testing Van

June 26, 2013

University of California San Francisco's Allied Health Project will launch the first mobile testing center in the city in anticipation of National HIV Testing Day on June 27. The van will make it easier for gay men and men who have sex with men to get tested. The mobile van is an extension of the health project's testing program, which started in 1985. The Health Project conducts HIV testing any day of the week at any time, and it provides referrals to those who are newly diagnosed positive.
