A Poem by Michael Wright

April 19, 2013

Death

Death is all around me now.
There is no escape from it.
My turn will be soon.
How will it greet me?
I used to say Death and I had met on several occasions,
but we just didn't get along.
Now we must become friends.
And laugh together,
live together,
love together.
