New York: Planned Parenthood Urges Condom Use
February 15, 2013
For National Condom Week, February 14-21, Planned Parenthood affiliates and Vox®: Voices for Planned Parenthood campus chapters nationwide are sponsoring activities to help foster discussion on condom use among sexual partners. During this time, Upper Hudson Planned Parenthood staff and volunteers plan to visit more than 20 local night spots in the Albany, Troy, and Hudson region on Friday and Saturday, February 15 and 16, to encourage individuals to talk to their partners about the importance of using condoms to prevent STDs and unintended pregnancy. Staff and volunteers will also distribute safer sex kits and prizes at each location. For information on where they will be, visit www.uhpp.org.
