Join the Campaign Briefing for the Robin Hood Tax to End AIDS

January 30, 2013

The HIV Prevention Justice Alliance (HIV PJA) and Health GAP invite you to a community conversation about the Robin Hood Tax to End AIDS.

A critical mass of European Union nations have now endorsed a Financial Transfer Tax -- otherwise known as the Robin Hood Tax -- that'll raise billions for social spending and jobs.

Here in the United States, there's exciting movement on legislation to use a Robin Hood Tax to raise up to $350 billion per year.

We need to make sure that any revenue from this tax would include money to support the needs of people living with HIV/AIDS, those at risk of HIV, and our communities.

The timing is right, now that we've got a new Treasury Secretary and the national media is focusing on budget issues and the need to increase revenue.

(Click here if your organization would like to endorse the Robin Hood Tax Campaign and to register for the call.)

We'll be keeping you informed at all points in the campaign -- but wanted to invite you to a special Campaign Briefing with HIV PJA and Health GAP.

We are hoping that you can join this call and lend your support to the campaign.
