International News HIV/AIDS Legal Assessment Tool Aims to Tackle HIV-Related DiscriminationJanuary 29, 2013 Writing in the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation's "Impatient Optimists" blog, Jennifer James, founder of Mom Bloggers for Social Good, examines the HIV/AIDS Legal Assessment Tool (.pdf) created by the American Bar Association Rule of Law Initiative. She says the tool "aims to tackle HIV-related discrimination by assessing countries' compliance with 'international legal standards on the protection of human rights of people living with, perceived to be living with, and affected by HIV, and key populations.'"
