In a post in the "Tomorrow Global" blog, Danielle Parsons, an HIV/AIDS, highlights a number of advances made in the search for an AIDS vaccine, writing, "All of this work is promising, and it's starting to feel like we're back on track for a successful therapeutic vaccine in the next decade." She examines what the next steps would be should such a vaccine be developed, highlighting the need for education, funding and strengthening of health systems, research of at-risk populations, and vaccine follow-up (1/25).
