International News China: HIV/AIDS Patients Fight for Equal OpportunitiesDecember 3, 2012 On World AIDS Day, an HIV-positive man in China said he was not sure if he would win a lawsuit against the education authorities for turning down his job application based on his diagnosis of HIV. He brought the lawsuit against the Education Bureau of Jinxian county in China's Jiangxi province, because his job application was turned down when authorities found that he is HIV positive. The lawsuit has not been formally registered for handling although it was filed at a local court on November 26. He is determined to fight the legal battle, which he says is not only for himself but for all people with HIV/AIDS who are vulnerable.
