International News Boehringer Ingelheim Launches Hepatitis C WebsiteNovember 13, 2012 On November 9, pharmaceutical company Boehringer Ingelheim announced the launch of a website -- HepCRedefined.com -- that is designed for patients with hepatitis C and their advocates. The company describes the website as an online portal designed to improve the lives of those living with the virus through education, information, and understanding. According to Hepatitis Education Project Executive Director Michael Ninburg, the HCV community needs the resources to talk about the disease in an informed way. "HepCRedefined.com is designed to aggregate straightforward and accurate information in a single virtual destination," he explained.
