International News Ghana: Children to Learn More About HIV/AIDS Through MusicNovember 6, 2012 On World AIDS Day, December 1, Kaylers Communications will present a free HIV/AIDS awareness concert for schoolchildren and the general public in Accra, Ghana. The event will also feature a variety of HIV/AIDS-themed short theatrical displays, music, dance, and proclamations by the schoolchildren, and performances by some of Ghana's top musicians. In November -- which is HIV/AIDS awareness month -- there will be visits to selected schools to educate the children about the epidemic and inform them of the concert. Organizers hope that as children learn more about the disease in fun ways through attending the concert or by hearing messages from celebrities, they will become sensitized to the pandemic. The children and general public at the concert will have the opportunity to have pictures taken with the musicians.
