A diagnosis of being HIV positive does not have to mean the end of your sex life. Everyone should engage in practices that encourages honesty and the use of safe sex methods. Additionally how a person views themselves is how others will view you. Editor's note: Aaron mentions in this video that people living with HIV are obligated by law to disclose their HIV status to potential partners. This is not true in every state in the U.S. Check out this index of articles about HIV disclosure laws; Lambda Legal has also created this listing of state laws that criminalize conduct based on HIV status (PDF). You can also ask specific questions about HIV-related legal concerns in TheBody.com's "Ask the Experts" Forum on Legal Issues and HIV. This article was provided by TheBody.com.
