Experts: Africa Countries Lose Out on AIDS FundingJuly 23, 2012 Experts at Doctors Without Borders said Thursday that African nations are not receiving adequate HIV/AIDS international funding. In a statement released in Johannesburg ahead of the 19th International AIDS Conference, DWB said African countries worst affected by the pandemic were the least able to provide "the best science" available to fight it. For example, Congo is only able to supply antiretroviral drugs to 15 percent of people who need them and "patients are literally dying on our doorstep."
