Opportunities to Increase HIV Testing as More Payers Cover Costs
The AIDS Institute Recognizes National HIV Testing Day
June 22, 2012
Washington, D.C. -- As National HIV Testing Day is observed on June 27th, The AIDS Institute would like to highlight that there are more opportunities than ever for HIV testing to be paid for by third party payers, and with implementation of the Affordable Care Act (ACA), there will be even more in the very near future.

"Private insurance companies, Medicaid and Medicare pay for HIV testing now for certain populations and in specific instances. With passage of health reform, coverage has already expanded and will greatly increase in the future."View Full Article
