The Black AIDS Institute will co-sponsor a free, two-day AIDS 2012 Leading researchers, clinicians and treatment advocates will prepare participants for specific sessions that will be held in the basic sciences, clinical science, and epidemiology and prevention science conference tracks. Particular emphasis will be placed on topics like the cure, vaccine development, hepatitis C, PrEP, microbicides and treatment as prevention. The training is offered in partnership with the Treatment Action Group, the International AIDS Vaccine Initiative, AVAC, the Foundation for AIDS Research, the Forum for Collaborative HIV Research, the Black Treatment Advocates Network, the African American HIV University, and other leading treatment advocacy organizations.
