My Letter to HIV: A Letter From Joshua Rosario King

April 26, 2012

Dear HIV,

At first I was scared of you, then I didn't know what to do with you, I found myself lost in you, but now I find comfort that you have no power over me and that you live with me not the other way around. I take joy in knowing I have better control over you and you can't hurt me unless I let you. No no HIV not me; you is not getting this one. HIV, I not only find joy in knowing you live with me. I am happier because I know I am gonna live a long healthy prosperous life. I exercise, eat right; take better care of me and my body. Why you ask? Because I let you in but could never let you defeat me. I won this battle and I plan on winner the war but outliving you HIV. So all I have to say is thank you HIV for inspiring me to take better care of my self so I can be around to be the example to others and teach them what you taught me. I look back at my trials and tribulations and I am very thankful for them because without them I wouldn't be who I am today. So I am here to once again say thank you HIV. I am thankful to say I have an international HIV/AIDS ministry called (VISION) reaching out to those who are affected and infected. Thank you HIV thank you. "The joy of the Lord is my strength".

Joshua Rosario King
