Train and Triumph With Team to End AIDS!

April 26, 2012

Team to End AIDS

Attention, AIDS United stakeholders! C'mon. You know you have always thought about doing a marathon, half-marathon or triathlon. With AIDS United's TEAM TO END AIDS (T2) program, now you have no excuse not to do it, AND you can raise money for critical HIV/AIDS programs in DC and around the country! T2 is an endurance training program that prepares you to go the distance and raise money in support of the Washington AIDS Partnership and AIDS United.

Our training program is designed for both the beginner and the experienced athlete. The training plan consists of one long group workout on the weekends and two shorter maintenance workouts on your own during the week. The triathlon program will have a weekend bike/run workout as well as a group swim during the week. Group runs begin with only 3 miles and gradually build each week. A little bit of time and distance each week will make you a hero for life. T2's experienced coaches and staff will work with you to go the distance and TRIUMPH and provide all the support and encouragement you need along the way.

T2 is offering a variety of events for the 2012 season:

  • Luray Triathlon -- August 18
  • Chicago Life Time Tri -- August 28
  • Bank of America Chicago Marathon -- October 7
  • Baltimore Running Festival (Full or Half Marathon) -- October 13
  • Marine Corps Marathon -- October 28
  • ING New York City Marathon -- November 4
  • Honolulu Marathon -- December 9
