U.S. News New York: Free STD Screenings Available in AprilApril 6, 2012 In recognition of April's designation as STD Awareness Month, Planned Parenthood of Nassau County is offering free STD screenings. No appointment is necessary for the tests, which will be administered in Planned Parenthood's blue van parked outside its clinics on the following schedule: April 9, noon-3 p.m., 35 Carmans Rd., Massapequa; April 18, 1-4 p.m., 110 School St., Glen Cove; and April 25, 11 a.m.-3 p.m., 540 Fulton Ave., Hempstead.
