Raw

It was good, I mean it was great.
My thirst was quenched.
My whistle was wet.
Our muscles, they flexed.
Our bodies, they sweat.
We conquered everything, epitomized sex.
Our love was deep.
Our love was bleak.
Our love was raw.

Because it feels better that way.
Your body left me last night,
but your Human Immunodeficiency stayed.
We shared our insufficiencies as our bodies, they lay.
It was love that I craved and sin I attained -- Drome.
When we first met we were two, when you left we were one.
And, if I could redo all the things that I've done,
I'd trade good and great sex for a sufficient self in the long run.
But, what's done is done.
