U.S. News California: ACT UP Exhibit at Historical SocietyMarch 14, 2012 Works by five photographers who documented the rise of militant AIDS activism in San Francisco are the focus of a new exhibit, "Life and Death in Black and White: AIDS Direct Action in San Francisco," at the GLBT History Museum. The exhibit will open with a reception on March 15 and remain on view through July 1. Admission is $5, $3 for students with ID, and free for museum members. The museum is located at 4127 18th St. in the Castro district.
