Tennessee: Week Dedicated to Healing AIDS

March 5, 2012

The Knox County Health Department and its community partners are marking the National Week of Prayer for the Healing of AIDS by holding several testing and educational opportunities. These include:

  • Monday, 1-5 p.m., at the University of Tennessee Black Cultural Center, Melrose Avenue near Hess Hall;
  • Wednesday, 10 p.m., at the Carousel II Nightclub, 1501 White Ave.; and
  • Thursday, 9 a.m.-noon, Western Heights Baptist Center, 1230 W. Scott Ave.

HIV testing is always free and confidential at any KCHD location; no appointment is needed.
