U.S. News Ugandan Orphans to Perform at Hackensack, N.J., ChurchFebruary 1, 2012 About 20 orphans from Uganda will perform a concert Friday at First Presbyterian Church of Hackensack to raise awareness of the AIDS epidemic in their homeland. The youths, ages 10-19, are part of the Children of Uganda, which provides AIDS education and support for orphans and vulnerable children, and which works with local non-governmental organizations to address the needs of Uganda's children. First Presbyterian and Leonia Presbyterian teamed with Presbyterian congregations in Tenafly and Ramsey to sponsor the concert through ticket sales.
