U.S. News California: Tenderloin Health Community ForumJanuary 20, 2012 Tenderloin Health has scheduled a community forum to hear people's concerns regarding its planned shutdown. Executive Director David Fernandez announced Jan. 5 that the facility would close due to budget cuts; last week, however, he said he was working to keep it open. Tenderloin Health serves those with HIV/AIDS as well as those at high risk of acquiring the virus. The forum will be held Thursday, Jan. 26, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at 187 Golden Gate Ave. (at Leavenworth).
