U.S. News New York State Awards $19 Million for Supportive HousingJanuary 4, 2012 The New York Office of Temporary and Disability Assistance has announced $19 million in awards to 88 groups across the state that help people overcome challenges that can lead to homelessness. Services offered by supportive housing programs can include help with dealing with HIV/AIDS, addiction or mental illness.
